Zeigler Sausage Cornbread

2 Lbs. Zeigler Finest Pork Sausage

1/2 c. Green Onions, chopped

1/2 c. Green Bell Pepper, chopped

1/2 c. Celery, Chopped

1 can Cream Style Corn

1 can Cream of Chicken Soup

1 can Cream of Celery Soup

1 can Cream of Onion Soup

3 c. Self-Rising Cornmeal

2 Eggs

1/2 c. Milk

Dash of Salt

1 (16 oz.) pkg. Shredded Cheddar Cheese

1 (16 oz.) pkg. Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

 

Cook Zeigler Finest Pork Sausage, onions, peppers and celery with a dash of seasoning salt, stirring until sausage is brown and vegetables are tender crisp; drain and set aside.  In a large bowl, mix corn meal, salt, eggs, milk, corn and soups. Oil bottom of roasting pan; layer half of cornmeal mixture, half of meat mixture and half of each cheese; repeat using remaining ingredients except cheese. Bake at 400 degrees for 35 minutes.  Remove from oven and top with remaining cheese and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until done.
