Biscuit Topped Sausage Casserole

1 lb. Zeigler Hot Finest Pork Sausage 1 (32 oz.) bag frozen Hashbrowns 5 Eggs, slightly beaten 2 c. shredded Cheddar Cheese 3/4 tsp. Onion Powder 1 tsp. Black Pepper 1/2 tsp. Salt 1 (12 oz.) package refrigerated Biscuit Dough

Cook Zeigler Hot Finest Pork Sausage in skillet until fully cooked, drained and crumbled. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine Finest Pork Sausage, hashbrowns, eggs, 1 1/2 cups Cheddar Cheese, onion powder, black pepper and salt in a 9x13 casserole dish. Place dish in oven and bake for 25 minutes. While sausage mixture is baking, slice each round of biscuit dough in half. Carefully remove sausage mixture from oven and top with biscuit dough. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese and bake an additional 8-10 minutes or until biscuits are fully done. Serves 10. |
