Wild Rice Stuffing
1 lb. Zeigler Finest Pork Sausage, browned and drained

1 c. Brown Rice, uncooked

6 oz. box Long Grain and Wild Rice

2 1/2 c. Onions, chopped

1 1/2 c. Green Onion Tops, chopped 

1 1/2 c. Celery and Leaves, chopped 

1/2 c. Red Bell Pepper, chopped

1 tsp. Season Salt

1 tsp. Black Pepper

1/2 tsp. Salt

1 T. Worcestershire Sauce

1/4 c. Parsley, chopped 

 

Cook long grain and wild rice according to package directions. Stir in brown rice and cover to steam. After steaming, set rice aside. Cook onion, green onion tops, celery and bell pepper in skillet with whole hog sausage while browning sausage. Stir in season salt and next 3 ingredients. Combine the rice, sausage mixture and parsley and place in casserole dish.  You may also use this as a stuffing.
