Zeigler Sausage Pinwheels
1 package Zeigler Finest Pork Sausage, Mild or Hot

1 bag frozen biscuits

 

Remove 10 frozen biscuits from bag and sausage and set aside to thaw.  Lay down wax paper and flour generously.  Knead biscuits together into a ball and place on wax paper. Roll out dough to be approximately 1/4 inch thick.  Use large spoon to spread sausage onto biscuit dough.  Roll out sausage to be approximately 1/4 inch thick. Trim excess dough making straight lines to form rectangle.  Begin rolling your dough tightly from the narrow side of the rectangle until it is a tube. Wrap in floured wax paper and freeze. 

When ready to cook, remove from freezer and allow to thaw for 15 minutes. Slice 1/4 inch thick and cook in oven at 375 degrees for 17-20 minutes or until biscuit dough is golden brown.
