Finest Pork Sausage
1 Medium Onion, chopped 1 Medium Green Bell Pepper, chopped 1 (6 oz.) pkg. Long Grain Wild Rice Mix 1 ( 8 oz.) can Slice Water Chestnuts (optional) 2 (4 oz.) cans Sliced Mushrooms, drained 3 c. Chicken Broth |

Crumble sausage into 2 quart casserole dish; add onion and green pepper. Cover with wax paper; microwave on high for 5 - 7 minutes or until sausage is done and vegetables are tender, stirring once. Move sausage mixture from casserole dish and drain on paper towels; set aside. Combine remaining ingredients in casserole dish; cover with heavy duty plastic wrap and microwave on high for 6 - 7 minutes. Stir well. Cover and microwave at medium heat for 30 - 35 minutes. Stir in sausage mixture, cover, and microwave on medium for 15 - 20 minutes or until rice is tender and all liquid is absorbed.
